General Information: 

Calibrachoa, also known as Million Bells, are a popular choice with  their vibrant colours and long-lasting blooms. These small, trumpet-shaped flowers come in a wide range of hues, including pink, purple, yellow, and white and some have dramatic markings. They bloom continuously through summer. With proper care, calibrachoa can thrive in containers, hanging baskets, or garden beds, adding a burst of color to any outdoor space.

Calibrachoa thrives in full sun to partial shade. Select a location that receives at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day. 

Calibrachoa prefers well-draining soil with a slightly acidic pH level between 5.5 and 6.5. Before planting, amend the soil with organic matter, such as compost or peat moss, to improve drainage and fertility.

When planting calibrachoa, ensure that the soil is moist but not waterlogged.

Proper watering is crucial for the health of calibrachoa plants. Water deeply and thoroughly, allowing the soil to dry slightly between waterings. Avoid overwatering, as it can lead to root rot and other diseases.

Feed your calibrachoa plants with a balanced, 3-4 month slow-release fertilizer or every 2-3 weeks with a liquid fertilizer during the growing season. This will provide them with the necessary nutrients for continuous blooming.

 Keep an eye out for common garden pests like aphids and spider mites. If necessary, treat infestations with organic insecticides or insecticidal soaps.
