Grasses 

We love annual grasses for their textures and colours. They look good in the middle of pots and containers as the tall focal point, or planted in the garden in masses. Or dotted amongst other plants for added interest in the garden. Some grasses like the Tut papyruses add a tropical feel to plantings while others like red rooster grass make it feel more southwestern and desert like. And of course we would never consider leaving out the popular purple fountain grass (pictured) that sports plume of beautiful soft flower heads all late summer and fall. In fact, purple fountain grass is one of our top favourite plants during the fall and its super easy to grow too.
