Perilla 

Perilla is a little known member of the mint family although we don't notice any mintiness in its flavour. Its also sometimes called Shiso. It is most often grown as a savoury herb used in specialty dishes from Japan and Korea. But we have also found that it is a fantastic ornamental foliage plant that slightly resembles a coleus. It loves sunshine.
