General Information: 

If there was ever just one flower that every single person would recognize even if they don't know anything about flowers, it would definitely be a petunia. This garden classic is unmistakable with its bright trumpet shaped flowers. They are easy to grow and bloom reliably all summer which has ensured their enduring popularity. We have nearly an entire greenhouse devoted just to all the petunias we grow! Thats a lot of petunias! 

Because there are so many petunias it can be daunting to navigate through the varieties and get the ones you want. But its ok, we are here to help. It also helps that you really can't make a mistake with flowers. Container varieties grow just fine in the garden and garden varieties can be put into containers. Gardening is relaxing so don't stress about petunias! 

In general bedding petunias stay as mounds of flowers that don't trail. They are also cheaper than the container varieties and we offer them in six packs. Bedding petunias are loved for their cost effectiveness and great garden performance. In containers they aren't usually the best choice because they don't fill out a container as well and they usually require deadheading to look their best. In a garden this isn't a problem because there is a lot of plants all taking turns to bloom. But in a container where there are limited plants and usually seen from up close, its important to have a non-stop display of blooms.
